Building Community Through Gardening

The Sherman Community Garden exists to build community and foster an appreciation of gardening by providing enjoyable and safe places to grow crops, gather as friends, and learn the techniques of successful gardening.

The garden is located at 600 N. Maxey St. in Sherman.

Electing officers: Come vote on Nov. 16!

On November 16, we'll be conducting an election to fill two open positions for elected officers.  Nominees at present are:
  • Public Relations Representative: Tal Kinser
  • Volunteer Coordinator: Katie Samples
Elections will be held at our normally scheduled meeting on the third Tuesday in November.  All members are eligible to vote.

Come out and have your say in the development of this vital Sherman institution.  See you in November!
