On Saturday, September 25, students and their families participated in the Austin College Family Weekend series of programs. 

Sherman Community Garden was honored to host both a morning and an afternoon gardening project, as an opportunity for students and their families to spend time together serving in the local community. Many 4 x 8 Foot plots were weeded and seeded for cool season crops and a large community bed was worked on.  

Thanks to the Austin College Office of Alumni and Parent Relations, and to the Austin College Service Station for selecting us as a project site!
