This week we heard a very informative presentation from Tropical John, owner of Tropical John's Gardens in Rockwall, and moderator of the Tropical John's Blog forum at Howard Garrett's DirtDoctor.com website.  In less than an hour, John covered a wide range of organic gardening techniques, starting with steps to make the conversion from traditional chemical-based methods (stop using chemicals, for example), and including great tips on soil amendments, pest management, and more.
